So we are here for you, the tree lovers, who really understand the values of trees in our life. We at Vichitra Trees, care such values and wishes from you. Since we launched ourselves in 2016, we have slowly become the Nation-wide online supplier of various young live plants. We nourish and grow your plants to the very highest quality, trim them to make them healthier and send them directly to you at exactly the right time for growing on or planting out.
Also we are upgrading ourselves according to the quality need at your end. All our plants are grown under greenhouse conditions to the highest standard. They are then boxed in custom designed protective packaging and dispatched by our attached courier partner at the appropriate time, accompanied by easy to follow growing instructions.
The tree varieties in our stockyard are highly useful for the environment and ecosystem. Some plants are rare, extinct and we feel glad to have them in ou nurseries. For easy browsing we have categorized them in Forest, Balcony, Garden and Backyard categories. Prices kept are very low with quantity discount which are much more affordable. Terms & Conditions
Definitions : The Seller means Vichitra Trees, located in Odisha state of India and the entrepreneur's web url are - http://vichitratrees.com and http://vichitra.net both are registered to serve in India only.
Customer means the person with Indian nationality only, with an Indian mobile number for communication, to whom this document is addressed.
1. General : These terms and conditions are applicable to the supply of products manufactured or prepared by the Seller, hereafter referred as Vichitra Trees, to the buyer hereafter referred as the Customer.
2. Price : All prices are quoted in INR (Indian Rupees) and are inclusive of all tax unless otherwise specified. The unit cost or the price can be found beside the corresponding product. All prices are inclusive of the product cost but excludes the transportation expense of the product. Discounts on prices made on specific days are to be notified on home page before discount date with a discount calculation on the e-cart page.
3. Payment : Payments must be made in INR only, unless otherwise specified, and by one of the online payment methods offered by the attached payment gateway.
4. Passing of property : Vichitra Trees, shall retain the property of the goods until full payment has been made by the customer.
5. Passing of risk : The risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery.
6. Delivery conditions and schedule : As our products are saplings, there are certain limitations on germination period depending on the species of the saplings. According to this we maintain our stock information on the website. We pack the saplings within three days and after packing we ship them instantly. For bulk order which contains more than 50 (Fifty) plants we ship the plants in phased manner and shipping may take more than one month of duration.
7. Stock availability : The saplings whose stock goes below 50 are not visible in products page. Additionally we have 10% extra saplings of each varieties to maintain damaged products. A customer can add a maximum of 100 plants of a single plant variety.
8. Cancelation of a placed order : When a customer places an order to Vichitra Trees, he/she has a statutory right that allows to cancel the order within 24 hours of order placement. To initiate cancel the order request, a Customer should attach Order Id, Order Date, Name to the email specified at the bottom. Cancelation can be done by calling us or by email to us. The received amount against the order shall be refunded partially (excluding gateway fees, sms and other charges) within 6 working days of cancelation.
9. Acceptance & Return procedure : We know neither the customer wants to receive a dead plant nor we want to damage our reputation by sending damaged product from our end. But after travelling a long distance inside a box, sometimes the baby saplings get damaged and are not recoverable. Therefore to save the plant certain steps are to be followed by the customer -
After receiving the plant a customer should open it carefully according to the direction specified on the parcel bag. Then if he/she feels the product is damaged he/she can send us a photograph of the received product with the attached polybag. The photograph should be sent to the Whatsapp Number mentioned at the bottom of this page. This may instantly help us to track the type of damage and provide our best service to our customers. The customers need not return the damaged product back to us.
We do not have any return procedure, fee or amount return policy at all. But, on the basis of the image provided by the customer, if a product found totally damaged by our review team, we can supply the similar sapling within next 20 days. We will not accept any claims for consequential losses arising from non-performance or low-performance of any plants supplied.
10. License agreement : The Customer shall respect all license agreements delivered by the copyright owners. Vichitra Trees cannot be held responsible or liable for any misuses conducted by the Customer or any third party.
11. Mode of communications : The mode of communication from us to the customer are (a) Email (b) SMS service from website (c) Phone Call from our customer service unit and (d) Whatsapp number. Similarly a customer can communicate with us via (a) Email to below mentioned email address or (b) Phone Call to our customer service number or (c) Initiating chat from homepage chat option or (d) Whatsapp communication to the below mentioned whatsapp contact number. For ease of reference the customer should mention his/her order id number, name while communicating.
12. Availability : All items are offered subject to availability on receipt of order. A customer can order a maximum up to 100 saplings of a specific plant in a single order request. If he/she wishes more trees he/she can place multiple orders. Whenever there is shortage of goods our website blocks a customer automatically. So a customer need not worry about availability of our products.
Where plants are no longer available from our own nurseries we reserve the right to supply material of a similar specification and quality from other growers within the jurisdiction and amend prices as necessary. We reserve the right to substitute size, identity number, provenance and origin unless specifically requested by customer at time of order.
13. Shape Modification : Since the plants are not similar in shape and size, the actual product may vary from the image displayed on screen. As our main purpose is not a decorative or an ornamental plant, we supply the very similar plant from our nursery. Most of our plants are of smaller in size and we trim some parts to reduce packing volume or weight. It also hepls to prevent dehydration of the plant during travelling. Every effort is made to keep the plant alive.
14. Contract : Automatic confirmation of receipt of your Order does not constitute a Contract between us. A Contract for the Sale of Goods shall only arise on the dispatch and services of the Goods to you.
